Tuesday mild and surfable
Hello Friends,
Pretty similar look to yesterday morning at Dee Why. Wind was coming from the WNW at 8-13kts and swell was 1.4 metres from the ESE at 10 seconds. This seemed to be translating into waist to chest high wave faces on the sets. The tide hits high at 1215 when wind should be around to the SW and the energy levels may have ticked up a bit as more south component comes into play.
Weather Situation
A cold front will cross the southern coastal waters this morning and heads offshore while its associated trough continues to move across the state’s northeast. Winds will turn north to northeasterly again on Wednesday as a transient high pressure ridge moves across the state and heads to the Tasman Sea. Then the next cold front that looks set to cross the New South Wales coastal waters between late Thursday and Friday will bring west to southwesterly wind change in the wake.
