Surf forecast issued Thursday 10 August 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney
The run of sunny, cool days with mostly light winds is soon coming to a finale according to the Bureau.. to be replaced from the weekend onwards by a run of showery, cooler days with mostly light winds.
The surf outlook is small to medium size waves mainly from the South, which will favour places that are more open to that direction of the compass…while other places can make their own arrangements.
Several beaches have pretty ordinary banks, so combined with the limiting swell direction, and inconsistent swell, it might get a touch crowded at any places that have a decent wave. Play nicely kids.
Friday: around 1 metre or less or maybe around 1 metre only at places open to due South
Saturday: 1 metre or less at dead South spots
Sunday: ditto
Monday: starting to come up a little into the 1-2 metre range dead South
Tuesday: ditto South East
Wednesday: ditto ditto
Thursday: going down a little.
