Another quiet one
Hello Friends,
Another beautiful day coming up for Sydneysiders but looking close to flat for surfers. There was absolutely nothing at the Dee Why end of the beach, but you might find a very soft ankle to knee-high thing up toward the Longy end. Maybe…
The wave data tells the story: 0.8 metres at 6 seconds from 180° as of 0840.
From the look of this morning’s wave models, the microness will be with us into mid-week at least. The more hopeful predictions have a small dead south pulse turning up around late Wednesday, early Thursday.
Yours truly will be sending postcards from a (non-surfing) jaunt this coming week…
Go well one and all!
Weather Situation
A vigorous cold front that moved over the state on Saturday has moved east into the Tasman Sea while a ridge of high pressure is building in its wake. Strong winds caused by the front are forecast to gradually ease today and into next week as the ridge strengthens and extends to the northern and central coastal waters.
