Super puny Monday

0 4

Hello Friends,

Spectacular skies this morning and glassy conditions along the beaches too. Sadly the waves are struggling to make the waist-high mark at Dee Why because the swell is currently only a metre at 12 seconds from the ESE.

There’s no prospect of an improvement to the size until Wednesday when we should see a small south pulse. Unfortunately, it looks as though it’ll be accompanied by showery weather and a stiff southerly. Your correspondent will be making a return to Crescent Head this week, so expect the odd postcard. At this stage, it looks as though I’ll be able to catch up on my reading, but hope springs eternal in the surfer’s heart…

Go well with your Monday!

Weather Situation

A near-stationary high pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea extending a ridge across the state while a coastal trough lingers offshore. The trough will be pushed well offshore tomorrow as a cold front sweeps across the southeast, with a fresh to strong southwest to southerly airstream in its wake.
