Gloomy gutless wind slop
Hello Friends,
Give it a miss folks. There aren’t any waves to speak of and the SSE wind was 14-29 kts by 0730.
The swell’s supposed to pick up over the next 24 hours, but the wind forecast is not good. Right now it looks like maybe Wednesday in the north corners as the wind comes around to the NE in the afternoon and we have a fading 8-second period south swell in the 1.5-2 metre range.
Have a great Monday anyway!
Weather Situation
Fresh north to northeasterly winds about most of the coast this morning, while a southerly change continues central parts of the coast before stalling and weakening along the Mid-North Coast. By this afternoon, fresh to strong southerly winds to stretch along the coast as new high pressure system moves into the Tasman Sea resulting in winds shifting more easterly into Tuesday.
Forecast for Monday until midnight
