Funky, junky Monday morning

0 4

Hello Friends,

If you had to miss it this morning, you didn’t. Although the lumps are close to the 2 metre mark offshore, the 6-7 second period of the ESE wind swell and SE wind of 14-21 kts were adding up to nothing much surfwise. Looks like a good day to skip it.

Tomorrow’s not likely to much better as the wind is predicted to be E-SE and skies are set to be showery.

Wednesday on the other hand is looking pretty hopeful. The weather should be sunny again, the winds light in the morning and the Bureau says we should have an E-ESE/south swell combo to play with.

Have a great Monday!

Weather Situation

Southeasterly winds across the southern and central parts of the coast are being driven by a low pressure system off the Mid North Coast, with airflow in northern waters tending fresher southerly today as the low moves further to the east. Winds will ease and become southeast to northeasterly into Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure develops along the coast. Winds will then turn northerly during the midweek ahead of a cold front that will move across the south on Thursday.
