The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 02.03.2023; Seven day outlook for Sydney
There was a spot of rain in spots of the Northern Beaches overnight and the water quality at some of those spots looked a bit spotty today… but it’s your health…
The small swell that there was today was from SSE/ SE, and the importance of direction and period was highlighted by Nothing at places like DY point and Collaroy, while places more open to that direction like Freshie and Curl Curl had the full benefit of the 1 m of 7 second.. stuff.
Friday: say around 1 metre or so at places that are open to dead South
Saturday: let’s just call it ditto
Sunday: and again, maybe South East
Monday: ditto but more North East
Tuesday: just ditto
Wednesday: similar or less dead South
Thursday: ditto ditto.
PS The SLSNSW Championships are on at Queenscliff and North Steyne over the weekend.. busy busy in the area. Just so you know if you’re not in it, or maybe a reminder if you are!

Up in the Air
The sky was blue Thursday night, but the BoM says showers Friday..
Couple of TCs formed quickly offshore out north of the Tasman but are expected to disappear off the radar pretty quickly, so nothing in the way of swell here likely.
