Scrappy and small to near flat
Hello Friends,
Thursday started out with a quick, heavy shower along the southern part of the peninsula and it looks like we could easily get more as the day goes along. As of 0900 the wind was 4-7 kts from the north which gave the 1 metre, 8-second SSE wind swell a textured, choppy quality. Set waves at the best exposures were struggling to make the waist high mark. Lulls were longish too, so if you’re getting in, expect to hang around waiting for the brief moments of energy.
The first tide of the day is a low at 1245, water quality should be pretty good most places and it’s still a balmy 24.
We should hear from the Goat at some point today, so as always I’ll be paying close attention to his read of the week to come. From what I’m seeing on this morning’s modelling, we’re probably not going to be surprised by any dramatic improvement in the near term.
Go well with your plans everyone and have a top old day.
