Pretty morning but nearly flat
Hello Friends,
Tuesday kicked off in fine style with sunny skies only a light NNE breeze and absurdly warm (25C) water. The only problem is, as the pictures show, there’s almost no wave energy. The best exposures are seeing knee to thigh high sets from the 1 metre 7-second NE wind bump.
The pleasant conditions will soon be impacted by increasing NE wind and then it’ll start to cloud over ahead of a SE change this evening. Oh and there’s a 90% chance of a shower later as well. Tomorrow’s set to be SE’ly and showery, with the same again on Thursday. Swell should kick up too, but given the other settings, I’m not too hopeful about surf prospects until maybe Saturday morning.
Go well!

Weather Situation
A cool change is expected to move across the southern and central coastal districts late today and early tomorrow, bringing showery conditions and temperature relief to eastern parts of the state while maintaining hot conditions across the west. Hot and dry conditions are forecast to extend to large parts of the state during the latter part of the weak as the high moves to the southern Tasman Sea ahead the next front that will enter the far west of the state during the weekend.
