Pretty morning and tiny waves
Hello Friends,
Perfect morning to get out there on the mal and chase a few knee high ones. Wind was WSW 10-17kts at 0930, while swell was a touch under a metre from the SE at 9 seconds. Definitely a morning when you won’t get worked by a set. Tide was low at 0630 and will be back to a moderate 1.6 m high at 1255. Weather is set to be mostly sunny with a high of 25C along the coast. Water is still on 20C.
Surf should stay around the current size across the day and then tomorrow morning we could see some forerunners of the incoming south pulse along with SW wind. By the afternoon the wind will be southerly. Friday should see a rinse and repeat windwise but the Bureau is calling for 3-5 metres of south swell. Yikes. The weekend could be pretty crazy, with some modelling saying we could have 5-6 m (!!) south swell through to Monday.
Go well everyone and have a top old Wednesday.

Weather Situation
A fresh southerly change is moving along the southern coasts today and will continue to move north towards Queensland. Southerly winds are expected to strengthen along the southern half of the coast from later today and on Thursday as a low pressure system deepens over the southern Tasman Sea. This low will generate strong southerly winds and hazardous surf conditions until it gradually moves east on the weekend.
