Saturday morning looked clean and fun
Hello Friends,
Sunny skies, a westerly breeze and 1.6 metres of 13 seconds of east swell were combining to deliver chest to shoulder high sets at the best exposures this morning. It looked a bit lully when I checked the beach before 0700, so expect to wait around for your opportunities. The marine forecast tells us to expect a brief wind change late this morning to the east. So the plan is to hit it ASAP.
Tide is currently heading to the high at 1225, water’s clean and 19C.
Outlook for the coming week is on the so-so side as we return to the grey weather and mostly onshore conditions from Monday. Tomorrow looks like being cloudy with ENE wind from late morning, but with a potentially surfable south+east swell combo. Maybe dawn patrol it if you’re keen.

Weather Situation
West to southwesterly winds are extending along the coast behind a cold front moving into the Tasman Sea. A high will move over southeastern Australia over the weekend and into the Tasman Sea next week. As a result winds should tend southeast to northeasterly over the weekend and early next week and northeasterly throughout from Tuesday.
