Thursday waves to be found all over the place
Hello Friends,
A crisp and sunny autmunal morning along the beaches – and we have waist plus waves at the magnets. It looked as though you had to wait for a catchable one, and you really needed your favourite small wave tool. Wind was west 9-15 kts and swell was 1.4 metres at 11 seconds from 162° (SSE). First tide of the say was a low at 0605. It’ll be back to the 1.2 m high a noon. Weather should be sunny all day as we head to a high of 21C. Water is clean and 23C.
All and all shaping to be a damn fine day, so get out there if you can!

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure extends over the far northeast, generating a northerly airstream about the north coast. A cold front will continue to move over the north coast today bringing a fresh south to southwesterly change in its wake. Winds will gradually shift westerly over the coming days as a new high pressure ridge moves into the region.
