Tiny for Monday morning

0 134

Hello Friends,

That’s disappointing. We had waves yesterday and I was hopeful they’d stick around… but from the look of Dee Why this morning, it’s dropped into the barely catchable range. Wind is WNW 5-7kts and should be light and variable across the day. Swell is a metre at sea at 8 seconds from the ESE (117°), so while it’s not doing much at Dee Why, there should be the odd waist high option at magnets. Tide hits a 1.44 high at 0915.

The models are telling us to expect similar conditions across the rest of the week, so if you track down a fun peak today, it should probably be your starting point tomorrow. Oh, and water’s still on 23C. Weather should be partly cloudy as we head to a high of 23C.

Go well with your Monday and stay safe.

Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure extends through central parts of the New South Wales coast with a southeasterly airstream to its north. As the ridge pushes north during the week, northerly winds initially in the south will gradually extend along most of the coast and freshen in the south. A cold front is expected to bring a fresh west to southwesterly change along the coast during Thursday.
