Wild and woolly low lashes wetly

0 100

Hello Friends,

The showery, blowy conditions continue and they’ll get worse in the next 24 hours if the low pressure system does what the Bureau expects it to.

As of 0930 wind was SW 14-22 kts and swell out at sea was 5.2 metres at 11 seconds from the south (174°). Although surface conditions were clean, the swell is overwhelming most places. There were a few in the (dodgy) water from about mid-Steyne south to the Bower, but it was very straight and the makeable ones were few and far between. A good day to sit it out.

As for the outlook, well the jocular Goat has rolled out a fresh new forecast for your consideration…

Weather Situation

A complex low over the Tasman Sea has two centres, one off the north coast of NSW and a deepening one off the central coast. The low off the central coast will become the dominant low centre and move closer to the central coast today. Strong to gale force winds and large waves over all coastal waters associated with the low. Uncertainty remains about the timing, position and strength of this system but it is likely that there will be a gradual easing trend in the winds from the north during the weekend as the low moves towards the NSW south coast.
