Sunday and well attended waves at Dee Why
Hello Friends,
Swell is fading, but Sunday morning saw plenty of shoulder to head high wave faces at the point and along the beach. Heaps of folks in the water chasing them too. Tide hits a 0.6 m low at 1240 and swell at sea as of 0900 was 1.9m at 11 seconds and coming from the SE. Wind was light NW but due to gradually come around to the east later. Water is on 24C and Beachwatch continues to warn that pollution is possible at all Sydney beaches.
Tomorrow looks to be small to near flat but on Tuesday the models show swell coming up. Unfortunately the increase will coincide with easterly wind and it could be we’ll have to wait until Thursday morning for it to clean up.
Go well, stay safe and wear your N95 inside – there were 2694 new cases of COVID-19 in our LGA last week.
Remember, large-scale studies like this one indicate that even a mild case can result in “long covid” for more than 30 percent of people infected.
