Clearing skies and swell but murky water

0 6

Hello Friends,

Coastal cloud clearing away when I made the Manly run. Swell at sea was 3.6m at 11-12 sec from the SSE and wind was a light SWly. Water still looks extremely suss, but there are waves to tempt the fit and fearless (no dice beginners!). Set wave faces were head high and a bit at North Steyne and Dee Why point, but open stretches like Curly were still overwhelmed by the swell and mostly shutting down.  Tide was low at 0910 and will be back to high at 1450. Wind’s predicted to go southerly this morning. Swell should remain punchy through the day and could still be reasonably big on sets for the morning session tomorrow.

Know your limits, these conditions are for experienced riders who don’t mind testing their immunity.

Go well!
