The Goat’s Surf Forecast

0 6

Surf forecast issued Thursday 3 March 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

When I told TG it was time for the forecast, he started carrying on…

You’re joking! You’re Unstable! Just like the weather. Can’t they look out the window? Don’t they know what an East Coast Low parked just up the road does to the surf?? Can’t they see the rain??? Can’t they see the trees bending in the gale force winds????

Then he muttered… Urgh… Sigh…Hang on …I can see some blue sky.

Looks like the Low that got tired of Qld and was moving down the NSW coast, might be dissipating a bit tomorrow and Saturday.. But not to get overjoyed grasshoppers… Looks like we’ll still have wind from way out in the Pacific, and another coupla Lows could be coming to irritate us soonish, arriving in different places. ‘Could be’ because they just won’t do as they’re told sometimes.

Friday: easing back a little (from Thursday) say around 3-4 metres, if you can see it, and windy

Saturday: somewhere in the 2-3 metre range East

Sunday: easing back in the 2-3 metre range East

Monday: then for a change, starting to come up at places open to dead South, say 4 – 4+ metres

Tuesday: easing slightly, say 3-4 metres South East

Wednesday: something similar

Thursday: something similarish (TG likes new words)

Can’t really see the ocean being civilised for a little while, so grab any sunny breaks when you can, and think happy thoughts ????

You won’t want to stick your head in the dirty water for a while anyway.  Take a shower, go for a walk. Stay healthy.

TG.
