The picture tells the story. 20-30 kts of ESE wind and 3.3 metres of 9-second east swell ensured that there were no surf options for even the keenest boardriders.
Right now it looks as though surfing’s off the table through Friday.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of New South Wales while a trough of low pressure lies just off the central coast, with a low pressure system lies further off the far north coast. The low is expected to move south and may deepen into an East Coast Low, reaching central parts of the New South Wales coast late Wednesday or early Thursday. The low is expected to weaken during Thursday.
