Surf forecast issued Thursday 24 February 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

If you haven’t liked the weather over the last couple of days, then you ain’t gunna be thrilled with the coming week’s  weather…The Bureau seems to have hit the repeat button right through to Thursday with: showers. light Easterly winds, and temps in the high 20s… which will no doubt also mean high humidity too, as well, TG lamented – carrying on about Jungley weather again. A well aimed bucket of water seems to calm him down.

The water temp is a balmy 26, but with all that rain and drain runoff etc in the water, who wants to go in it?

Of course there’ll be the usual takers, especially as  the surf might come up a little from the onshores blowing from way out to sea for a while –  the onshores also meaning though, possible iffy surf quality, though winds are forecast to be mostly light.

So it’ll be a case of how good it looks at times, how much you want to get wet, and if your immune system is up to scratch. Oh what fun for you deciding.

Friday: starting to come up (from Thursday) somewhere in the 1-2 metre range East North East

Saturday: ditto East

Sunday: ditto

Monday: ditto maybe up a little later

Tuesday:  say around 2-2+ metres East/ East North East

Wednesday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range, or around 2ish metres East

Thursday: around 2 ish metres East at this stage.

As the swell will be coming from a long way out there may be a little bit of oomph behind the waves at times.
