Lumpy and bumpy but not completely hopeless
Hello Friends,
It wasn’t a great morning surfwise, but it was slightly better than yesterday thanks to the influx of some 12-second S-SSE energy. It was close to 2 metres at sea as of 0730. Wind was NE 9-14 kts and tide was approaching the 0.57 low at 0805. There’s a 90% chance of rain. Given that Warriewood had a partially treated overflow incident yesterday, it was no surprise that the all the rain has caused Beachwatch to issue Pollution Likely warnings for most beaches. Risking an infection for today’s waves makes no sense.
The rainy stuff looks like being a feature of life for the next week…
Go well with your Wednesday everyone!
Weather Situation
Low pressure over the Coral Sea and high pressure over the southern Tasman Sea brings a showery easterly flow to NSW coastal waters. The high pressure system in the Tasman will be the dominant feature over the coming days as it extends a ridge across the south while maintaining steady easterly airstream over the coastal waters through the coming days.
