Dialled back but not flat
Hello Friends,
Another beautiful morning in Sydney. Surf has faded overnight and this morning sees energy levels at Dee Why in the waist high range for the most part. Wind was a light 4-5 kts from the west as of 0700, but the forecast tells us it’ll swing south and build to 10-15 kts. Swell at sea was 2 metres at 9-10 sec from 140° (SE). Tide hit the 1.5m high at 0555 and is now dropping to the 0.7m low at 1215. Weather should be mostly sunny, with a high of 25C. Sun protection is recommended between 0830 and 1700.
This morning’s swell models show surf prospects fading to near flat by Thursday and then remaining very small through the weekend – at least. Ocean temp is on 21C and the only place with a question mark over water quality, is at Northy.
Go well everyone!
