Hello Friends,

Ankle to knee high and glassy before 0800 this morning at Dee Why. Wind was coming lightly from the SW under partly cloudy skies. Surf was in the ankle to knee high range at Dee Why. Swell at sea was 1.2 metres at 7 seconds from the SSE. Tide was low at 0640 and will be back to a swampy 1.8 metre high at 1310. There’s a 95% rain into the 20-35mm range today as we head to a high of 24C. Beachwatch says water quality is good everywhere but Manly where they’ve given it a “pollution possible” rating this morning. Water temp is on 21C.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Goat says later today about our prospects for this weekend. It definitely looks as though the energy is going ramp up…

Stay safe everyone!

Weather Situation

A weak trough has stalled about the Hunter coast and will weaken this morning. During today a low pressure system will form off the southern coast, driving strong south to southeasterly winds to the south of its centre and north to northeasterly winds to its north. The low is expected to linger about the southern Tasman Sea for several days, maintaining a general southerly flow along the coast.
