Waves to be had this morning

0 44

Hello Friends,

A few waist plusses to be found this morning at Dee Why. As of 0730 wind was coming lightly from the south at 3-5 kts under overcast skies. Out at sea the swell was 1.6m at 9 seconds from 138° (SE) as tide dropped to the low at 1130. There a 30% chance of a shower on a day that should see a high of 24C. Despite the look of it, the water should be okay quality according to Beachwatch. They report a sea temp this morning of 20C.

It looks as though the cloudy and occasionally showery weather is expected to continue for another week at least. Surf prospects continue to look less than amazing through the same period. There should be little knee to waist high bumps to mess around on at the better exposures, but it could be awhile before we get anything above chest high.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!
