Sunny start to a surfless Thursday
Hello Friends,
Yesterday’s low expectations for surf today have been met. Couldn’t see anyone in the water at Dee Why, which is hardly surprising given the microscopic conditions. Swell at sea was less than a metre at 7 seconds from ESE. On the plus side, Beachwatch tells us the water is clean and 20C.
I’m not seeing anything hopeful for today or into Saturday, but let’s see what the Goat has to say later. Be sure to check back later for his weekly words of surf wisdom.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of New Zealand extends a weakening ridge along the southern New South Wales coast. A coastal trough will drift with an embedded low pressure system will drift eastwards today, and further offshore on Thursday. Another trough and southerly change starts moving up the south coast during Friday.
