Another beautiful but tiny Sunday
Hello Friends,
Clear skies, with a mild 23C high expected and 10-15kts of WNW was making the little line look appetizing. Unfortunately the biggest ones were struggling to get above waist high, and worse, they were shutting down only a few metres off the sand. Swell at sea was 1.25m at 10 seconds but coming from 184°, so it’s angling away from the coast and getting an extra kick along from the wind. Tide hits low at 1140 and by then the wind should be belting along at 20-30kts from the west. The swell is expected to pick up out at sea, but I’d be surprised if we see much of any change wave-wise today, or, judging by the models, until late Tuesday through to Wednesday morning when we could get a small south pulse.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
Weather Situation
A weakening low pressure system is rapidly moving away from the east coast over the Tasman Sea. A second deep low, then moves from south of Tasmania to New Zealand today and into Monday pushing further fronts and troughs across the south, with a ridge starting to build from the west thereafter.
