Super clean but mostly kinda weak and soft
Hello Friends,
Clean, chest plusses at better exposures this morning and not many people in the water – which is a clue. Despite being 1.7m at sea, the NE wind swell has a period of less than 7 seconds, so that means that for the most part it’s really gutless. When the waves peak up as they hit the banks, they look very attractive, but when you see how slowly riders move across open face, it’s obviously fat and slow. And this is with a low tide at 0920. Maybe that’s why numbers are down.
The weather was socked in early, but lifted around 0900. However, the forecast tells us to expect 8-15mm of rain across the day. Plus, Beachwatch has flagged most beaches from Narrabeen south as “pollution possible” or “pollution likely”. Ocean temp is on 20C and today’s high should be 24C.
Go well everyone!
