Chilly breeze to start but sunny skies ahead
Hello Friends,
Although we’re headed to a high of 24C along the coast today, this morning started out with a cool, 15C, 8-13kt westerly under clear skies. There’s a distinct but small line showing too. Swell at sea was 1.5m at 11 seconds from 164° (SSE), but I didn’t see any sign that it was refracting into Dee Why point. It was very clean looking up the beach, however it was also straight, shutting down and very tiny for the most part. The real tell was that there weren’t very many in the water.
It could be worth keeping an eye on things though because the Bureau says the swell could pick up a little as the day goes along. And tomorrow things might improve a bit more if the swell angle moves more to the ESE as the models predict.
Have yourself a top old Wednesday everyone and stay safe.
