Rest day perhaps

0 5

Hello Friends,

Looked pretty close to flat at Dee Why as the sun popped over the horizon on Tuesday morning. Wind conditions were benign, so surface conditions were smooth, but you’d be doing well to score something much above knee high. Out at sea the swell was coming from the SSE (163°) at 10 seconds and with average heights in the 1.3m range. First tide of the day is/was a 1.5m high at 0815. Weather should be mostly sunny, with a mild 23C high. Water’s on 18C.

Outlook for the rest of the week is maybe not exciting but with luck we should see a tiny bit of an uptick in the surf prospects at the relevant magnet spots (ie depending on swell direction).

(Just listening to Norman Swan and Tegan Taylor on the ABC coronacast while working on the report and was stoked to hear that Australia is currently vaccinating at close to a million a week, which is more than the USA with 12x our population. So, go us and huge thanks to all the hardworking folks making those numbers happen. )

Go well, keep masking and have a great Tuesday!
