Everybody in!

0 17

Hello Friends,

Another beautiful day along the beaches and it looks as though pretty much everyone with a board is in the water at Dee Why. The point looks to be a bit of a hoax, with waves standing up as they approach, but then fading out before anyone can catch ’em. The beach seemed to be more productive with set wave faces getting into the shoulder plus range.

As of 0930 wind was out of the WNW, but it should be around to the NE for the rest of the day. Swell was 1.7m at 10-11sec from 145° (SE) and first tide of the day was the 1.3m high at 0700. We’re back to low at 1235.

The models are projecting the current small but surfable conditions to last for at least the next few days. Can’t complain about that!

Stay safe, get yourself and your loved ones vaxxed, wear the mask like a grown up (what is with the dopey chin hammock look anyway), check in/out  and maybe (variants willing) we’ll be back to more normal life by Christmas.
