The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 19 August 2021: Seven day surf outlook for Sydney

Hey hey it’s TGF day!!

Not TGIF, sorry workers, schoolkids, etc>> It’s The Goat’s Forecast day!!

Yeah, weak joke I told him…but he insisted, and he’s still laughing…

TG seems to be handling this lockdown pretty well. So far he hasn’t blown his top much at all.

He’s set himself low daily expectations, and they are regularly happily exceeded>>>

For a start, the world keeps turning! Sun comes up – sun goes down, like clockwork.

Every day he has at least three highlights – Breakfast.. Lunch… AND Dinner!

And today there were some nice looking waves around as well.

His cup runneth over

The outlook is for the nice weather to continue for a few days, even warmer, and then it’ll remind us winter hasn’t gone away. The surf outlook is for waves to ease back, but then come up in line with the colder weather. Take your pick on what makes you happier

Friday: down from Thursday, say around 1 metre or so at dead South spots

Saturday: something similar from South East

Sunday: ditto maybe smaller

Monday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range from North East

Tuesday: ditto but going down as the wind starts to oppose it

Wednesday: starting to come up at places open to dead South, along with windy wind

Thursday: could be a round 2 ish metres at dead South spots, with accompanying wind choppin’ it up

Have a good one.

Stay well and keep smiling.
