Sunny first Monday of August
Hello Friends,
Another sunny start to the day, but there is a 40% chance of a light shower this evening. Swell is pretty much where it was yesterday as far as Dee Why’s concerned. That said, there was a bit of a pulse last night so it’s currently slightly above a metre out at sea and the period has crept up a touch to nearly 8 seconds. Couldn’t see anyone in the water from RealSurf HQ’s crowsnest at report time. I reckon you’re looking at maybe ankle to knee high at best. Wind as of 0900 was light and westerly but it’s due to swing east to NE during the morning.
Outlook is for the marginal to flat conditions to stick around for another couple of days. The models are showing a solid 2-3 metre, 11-12 second pulse with westerly wind for Thursday. It should stick around in the surfable range for Friday morning too.
So, that’s a good thing.
Stay safe, stay masked and have a good one.
