Fading but fun ones still in the mix

0 9

Hello Friends,

It’s a get out there and get one while you can morning in Sydney. Tide was high at 0720 and will be back to low at 1320. It should be sunny all day, but the wind will gradually get more north in it and chew up the south ends. Swell is definitely on the fade, but there were still the occasional head high bombs at the better exposures (eg the middle part of the beaches at Manly and Dee Why).

Weather Situation

A weak ridge of high pressure lies across the state, and a cold front is approaching from the south. The cold front is expected to bring a southwest to southerly change to the south coast of New South Wales late today, before pushing through the remainder of the coast on Tuesday. A high pressure system is then expected to move eastwards across Tasmania on Tuesday in the wake of the front, and continue drifting eastwards later through the week.
