Saturday swell firing

0 11

Hello Friends,

After turning southerly at dusk yesterday, the wind was back around to the west as this morning kicked off. Swell has come up to nearly 3 metres, it’s packing a period of 11-12 seconds and it’s coming from the SSE (163°). As you can see from the pics, set wave faces are into the head high to a overhead range. Know your limits beginners!
Tide was a 1.66 m high at 0715 and will be back to the low at 1335 on what should be a partly cloudy and offshore day. Water quality should be pretty good at most spots and is sitting on a balmy 23C.
Swell prospects currently look pretty reasonable right through to midweek.
Have yourself a great Saturday everyone.
