Since 1999, Outdoor Outreach has connected more than 15,000 young people with transformative outdoor experiences. Serving under-resourced communities with a focus on Southeast San Diego, our youth face significant barriers to accessing outdoor spaces and activities. But our work isn’t just about creating access. With every opportunity to surf, hike, kayak, and climb, our youth are also building resilience in the face of challenges and confidence that they can make a difference in their lives and communities.
