Hello Friends,

Clean, lined up and shutting down along the beach. 30 people in the water at the point as of 0900 but reasonably consistent sets into the shoulder to head high range. Tide coming into a 1.5m high at 1050. Might get some pictures this morning, so check back later…

Weather Situation

A high pressure system of southeastern Australia is moving east. Generally southerly winds along New South Wales waters will shift northerly overnight as the high reaches the Tasman Sea and continues drifting east. A weak trough is expected to bring a south to southwesterly change along the south coast later Monday.

Forecast for Sunday until midnight

Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning southerly in the morning then tending to east to southeasterly below 10 knots during the evening.
Seas
Around 1 metre, decreasing below 0.5 metres by early evening.
Swell
Southerly 2 to 2.5 metres.
Weather
Partly cloudy. 60% chance of showers.
Caution
Surf conditions in the afternoon and evening may be more powerful than they appear and are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.

North to northeasterly below 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots before dawn then tending north to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots in the morning.

Below 0.5 metres, increasing to around 1 metre during the morning.

Southerly 2 to 2.5 metres.
