Another fun surf day for Sydney
Hello Friends,
So jealous. Sydney was pretty smooth and clean at first light with heaps of shoulder to head plus energy at the magnets. And it looks from the forecast as though there should be favourable winds until late afternoon. However, as the BoM call below reveals, the favourable wind conditions are set to disappear overnight, even though the swell should keep on keeping on. If the models have it right, you could be waiting until Sunday for the onshores to back off… so, today is the day to hit it!

A high pressure ridge lies over southern Australia while a cold front moves through Bass Strait today. A high pressure centre in the Bight will shift east during the second half of the week across the southern Tasman Sea.
Forecast for Tuesday until midnight

- North to northwesterly about 10 knots becoming west to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the early afternoon then turning south to southeasterly in the evening. Winds reaching up to 20 knots offshore in the late evening.
