Hello Friends, There was just the faintest NE breeze blowing before 0700 this morning. Skies were grey, but not raining and there were a few knee to waist-high waves from the metre-high mix of 5-6 sec east wind swell and 12-sec SSE swell.

Hello Friends, The surf energy has been slowly fading since Wednesday and this morning at Dee Why saw knee to waist high waves appearing now and then. Swell at sea was 1.8 metres from the S by SSW at 10 seconds apart – ie, mostly pushing away from the coast.

Hello Friends, Noticeably more energy in the system this morning, and if you’re keen, you’ll get a wave. Wind was SW 9-15 kts and the 0600 MHL buoy was showing 2.8 metres at 9 seconds from just off dead south (186 degrees), so the main energy is pushing away from the coast.
