All northern beaches have been closed until further notice.
The beaches are closed following yesterday’s incident first at Dee Why where a surfer escaped injury after a shark bit his board a couple of times and later when another surfer at North Steyne suffered severe injuries. The attacks came a day after a boy was bitten and gravely injured at a Vaucluse swimming spot in the harbour.
