Postcard from Guethary, France

Swell has dropped overnight making the main break at Guethary more manageable.   Big tidal difference at the moment and a lot of the swell’s energy seemed to fade with the lowering tide.

Still the occasional bomb set though  to keep everyone on their toes.

Lovely part of the world to go surfing.

Btw, water temp here is lovely.  Some people in springies, others in boardies but most in lightweight steamers (so they can stay out longer).
