SF’s stand-up paddle event postponed

The Red Bull Heavy Water, considered by many to be the most challenging stand-up paddle surfing contest in the world, has been postponed until next year.
The San Francisco event had a window running through Friday, but forecasts called for unfavorable conditions.
This was to be the first year women were to compete alongside men in the event beginning at Aquatic Park, continuing underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and concluding at Ocean Beach.
