Surfing technology at Ratho could help Team Scotland make waves in global competition

“And zat is our surfeur from Scotland... Mark Cameron... 39 years of age from Frazzer-bruh... from Frazzer-burrr...” One of the highlights of watching Team Scotland compete in the ISA World Surfing Games in Biarritz last week was listening to the multi-national team of announcers on the live webcast mangling Scottish place names. Sadly we didn’t have anyone from Kirkcudbright or Ecclefechan or even Milngavie taking part, but the home town of the 2016 Scottish champion caused more than enough commentary box consternation all by itself.
