Mediapro adds Uruguayan media rights for 2026-29 cycle
March 6 – Grup Mediapro has secured media rights to interactive entertainment platforms and digital operators for Uruguayan football covering the 2026–2029 cycle.
The package was granted following the tender process for the country’s football media rights for the next four-year period. Within that framework, Mediapro was awarded Lot 5, covering exploitation of content tied to interactive entertainment platforms and other digital operators.
The agreement further embeds Mediapro in Uruguay’s evolving audiovisual ecosystem as the federation restructures how its football content is distributed and monetised.
