OU QB Mateer Earns SEC Honor
Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Mateer completed 21 of 34 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown and ran 19 times for 74 yards and two scores in OU's 24-13 win over #15 Michigan on Saturday.
It's OU's first SEC weekly honor of the season.
Mateer is in his first season with the Sooners after transferring from Washington State.
