Daniel Cormier was part of the broadcast team for one of the best UFC cards in a really long time — and then he flew home to an unfortunate surprise.

Cormier was on the call with Jon Anik and Joe Rogan for UFC 317 this past Saturday — an event that was capped off by Ilia Topuria’s sensational knockout of Charles Oliveira in the first round to become the UFC lightweight champion. After returning home to San Jose, Cormier revealed that his truck was stolen Thursday night.

“Somebody stole my truck at the San Jose Airport,” Cormier said on social media. “Goddamnit! Unbelievable.”

Cormier says that the San Jose Police Department is investigating the incident, and also added that he bought the vehicle “four days” prior when he released the video. “DC” believed it was time to change things up after having the same vehicle for seven years, so he went out and purchased the new truck.

While the end of his weekend is obviously rough, Cormier got to call a spectacular night of action to cap off the UFC’s International Fight Week. Along with Topuria’s incredible performance, UFC 317 also included a stoppage win for flyweight champ Alexandre Pantoja, and Joshua Van earning a 125-pound title shot with a Fight of the Year contender decision win against Brandon Royval.
