Valentina Shevchenko has custom dragon fight kit for UFC 315

Valentina Shevchenko begins her new title reign with some new swag at UFC 315.

On Saturday, Shevchenko makes the first defense of her newly reclaimed women’s flyweight title against Manon Fiorot in the co-main event. When she does so, Shevchenko will be rocking a custom uniform for the occasion, featuring a green and gold dragon.

In recent years, the UFC has leaned into custom fight kits for certain champions and events. Just last month, Alexander Volkanovski got a special pair of shorts for his UFC 314 title fight with Diego Lopes. This is Shevchenko’s first set of custom shorts, though she did wear a unique pair of shorts as part of the Noche UFC production for UFC 306.

One of the most decorated fighters in MMA history, Shevchenko held the women’s flyweight title from 2018 until she lost the belt to Alexa Grasso at UFC 285 in 2023. Shevchenko and Grasso then fought to a split draw in their rematch later that year, before Shevchenko was able to end the rivalry when she won a unanimous decision over Grasso at UFC 306 this past September.

Fiorot, meanwhile, is undefeated in the UFC with seven wins in the promotion since 2021. Most recently, Fiorot won a unanimous decision over Erin Blanchfield to lock up her shot at Shevchenko’s new belt.

UFC 315 takes place this Saturday at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
