OSU inducting Justin Blackmon into football Ring of Honor

0 24

STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) — Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon will be added to Cowboy Football's Ring of Honor on November 15 when OSU hosts Kansas State, the school announced.

Blackmon is one of two people ever to win the Biletnikoff Award two times. The award is given to college football's best wide receiver. Blackmon was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Blackmon was nearly unstoppable on the field. He was a two-time unanimous All-America selection, and the only Oklahoma State Cowboy to achieve that honor. The 2010 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year led the FBS in receiving yards per game and receiving touchdowns that season. In total, Blackmon hauled in 253 receptions for 3,564 yards and 42 touchdowns at OSU.

Blackmon joins Thurman Thomas, Barry Sanders, Bob Fenimore, Terry Miller and Leslie O'Neal as members of the Cowboy Football Ring of Honor.
