Jason Kelce talks about his difficult Super Bowl as he rooted for Travis and the Eagles
Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs was especially difficult for former NFL player Jason Kelce. The longtime center spent his entire career with the Eagles, helping them win one Super Bowl and suffering a devastating loss to the Chiefs in another. Kelce had become synonymous with the Eagles, making Philly his home with his wife and three daughters.
On the other hand, Kelce’s little brother, Travis, has spent his entire career with Kansas City, winning two back-to-back Super Bowls and three total titles with the Chiefs.
In the week leading up to the game, Jason navigated the difficult combination of wanting both teams to find success while also dealing with the seemingly endless barrage of fans online telling him he was failing at either being a good brother or faithful Philly alum. A true no-win situation for the affable host.
