Watch Islam Makhachev, Arman Tsarukyan share intense faceoff ahead of UFC 311

Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan were all about business when they came face-to-face just days away from their main event fight at UFC 311.

The lightweights are preparing for one of the most anticipated title bouts in recent history but there was still a lot of respect shown between the former opponents, who are set to meet again on Saturday. Makhachev got the nod during their first encounter, winning a hard fought unanimous decision but Tsarukyan has been gunning for revenge ever since.

The fighters shared an intense staredown on stage with a raucous crowd at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles before turning to face the fans. They’ll meet again during the ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday.

Meanwhile, Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov shared more than a few words on stage as the fighters continued to add layers to their growing rivalry with the bantamweight title going up for grabs in the co-main event.

Dvalishvili has repeatedly claimed that Nurmagomedov has been disrespectful towards him while the undefeated Russian jabbed at the reigning UFC champion for constantly touting his home country of Georgia yet now he resides full time in the United States.

Knowing there’s some simmering bad blood between these two, UFC CEO Dana White made sure to keep Dvalishvili and Nurmagomedov far apart from each other, although they were still sharing a few words before separating on stage.
