Pascal Jansen is latest manager to take a bite at the Big Apple’s NYCFC
January 7 – MLS side New York City FC have named Dutchman Pascal Jansen as their new manager, succeeding Nick Cushing, who was dismissed in November.
Jansen joins from Ferencvaros in Hungary, where he served as manager since June 2024. In The Big Apple, he will replace Cushing who departed NYCFC following elimination by crosstown rivals the New York Red Bulls in the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference last season. The Dutchman has signed a contract running until 2028.
