Randy Brown has spoken out about his UFC 310 opponent’s weight miss.

Brown is scheduled to face Bryan Battle on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. During Friday’s official weigh-ins, Brown successfully made weight, while Battle was over the mark by four pounds.

Following the weigh-in window, Brown reacted to Battle’s massive weight miss, and believes it was done purposely.

“Nine walks to the UFC octagon alone, six on the regional scene and I’ve never missed weight, not one time. Like a true professional,” Brown wrote on Instagram. “Brian knew he wasn’t going to make the weight from the day before but still let me suffer through a weight cut. These guys bite the bullet on percentage then come in overweight on purpose so they can get a weight advantage on fight night. I’ll be no more than 185 [on Saturday]. I would bet he’ll be well over 200 [pounds]. How is that fair to me?”

As of now, no official decision has been made public by the UFC. A person with knowledge of the promotion’s plans told MMA Fighting on Friday that percentages were agreed upon, and that the fight will go forward as planned.

Brown enters the fight on a three-fight win streak, including a decision over Elizeu Zaleski at UFC 302 in June. Battle is unbeaten in his past four outings, finishing three opponents en route to his toughest test to date this weekend.
